Smarter Technology. Clearer Treatment Decisions.
Skin concerns do not usually happen one at a time. You may be seeing pigment and redness together. Texture may be changing while breakouts remain active. You may want a lighter refresh now, then a more corrective resurfacing treatment later. The most effective plan begins by understanding what is actually changing in your skin and selecting the technology that fits it.
At Lilivy Aesthetics & Wellness in Fort Wayne, Dr. Stephanie Sublett offers advanced Sciton laser and BroadBand Light® treatments for patients who want more than a generic recommendation. Our technology can address visible sun damage, uneven tone, redness, active acne, unwanted hair, pores, fine lines, texture changes, acne-scar irregularities, and broader skin renewal. The right treatment depends on the concern, your skin history, your goals, and the recovery time you can realistically accommodate.
Some Lilivy treatments use BroadBand Light®. Others are true lasers. That distinction matters. We explain it clearly, then create a plan with purpose.
What Are Advanced Laser & Light Treatments?
Advanced laser and light treatments use controlled energy to address visible skin concerns, but they do not all work in the same way. One treatment may be ideal for brown pigment and redness. Another may be better for active acne, unwanted hair, early texture changes, or more comprehensive resurfacing.
You do not need to know which device to ask for. You need an honest assessment of your skin and a clear explanation of which technology is likely to serve you best.
BBL® HEROic™ is Sciton’s advanced BroadBand Light® platform. It uses pulses of light. It is not a laser and it is not a resurfacing laser. Depending on the treatment application selected, it can be used for visible brown pigment, diffuse redness, small facial vessels, active acne, unwanted hair, and visible skin-quality concerns. SkinSmooth™, Forever Clear BBL®, and Forever BARE BBL® are distinct treatment applications performed with the BBL® HEROic™ platform.
MOXI™ and Super MOXI® are non-ablative fractional laser treatments. They create controlled microscopic treatment zones to support skin renewal, making them meaningful options for uneven tone, superficial pigment, early sun damage, rough texture, and ongoing skin-quality care.
HALO® TRIBRID™ is a customizable hybrid laser resurfacing treatment. It can combine a controlled superficial ablative 2940 nm Er:YAG wavelength with non-ablative 1927 nm and 1470 nm wavelengths. This gives your LILIVY Practitioner the ability to address texture, pigment, pores, fine lines, acne-scar irregularities, and deeper skin renewal within one carefully selected treatment plan.
Customized Around Your Skin
Your appointment begins with a complete skin assessment and a conversation about what you want to address. We discuss your treatment history, sun exposure, skincare routine, medications, skin sensitivity, goals, and recovery tolerance. When appropriate, we also take clinical photographs so your plan and progress can be evaluated clearly over time.
From there, we determine whether a light-based BBL® HEROic™ application, non-ablative fractional laser treatment, hybrid resurfacing treatment, or a sequenced combination makes the most sense. The LILIVY Practitioner selects the treatment area, settings, intensity, and timing around your skin rather than following a one-setting protocol for every patient.
Some treatments require only cleansing, protective eyewear, a clear treatment gel, and cooling. Others, including selected laser resurfacing treatments, may involve topical numbing and a longer recovery plan. We explain exactly what your visit will involve before treatment begins, including what you will feel, how you should prepare, and what the recovery period may look like.
Clinically Selected, Not Generically Sold.
The benefit is not simply access to more technology. It is having more precise options when your skin needs a more nuanced plan.
At Lilivy, advanced laser and light treatments may help you:
A Match or A Maybe
You may be a good candidate if you are seeing changes in tone, texture, pigment, redness, acne, unwanted hair, or visible skin aging and want a medically thoughtful plan rather than a generic service menu. Laser and light treatments can be meaningful for patients who want a low-downtime maintenance option, a more corrective treatment, or a carefully sequenced combination of both.
The right choice depends on your skin concern. BBL® HEROic™ may be a better fit when unwanted color, redness, visible vessels, active acne, or hair reduction is the priority. MOXI™ or Super MOXI® may be a better fit for non-ablative fractional renewal. HALO® TRIBRID™ may be considered when multiple concerns or a higher level of correction are the goal.
Not every skin concern should be treated with laser or light technology immediately. We may recommend different care, modify your treatment plan, or postpone treatment if you have recent tanning, active irritation or infection, open skin, a history of pigment changes requiring added caution, photosensitizing medications, certain skincare products, or a recovery timeline that does not support the treatment you are considering.
Patients with severe, scarring, hormonal, or systemically influenced acne may need additional clinical evaluation alongside Forever Clear BBL®. Patients seeking hair reduction should know that light blond or white hair cannot be effectively addressed by Forever BARE BBL®. A candid conversation protects your skin and leads to a better recommendation.
Recovery That Fits Real Life
Recovery depends on the specific technology and treatment settings selected. BBL® HEROic™, SkinSmooth™, Forever Clear BBL®, and Forever BARE BBL® are light-based treatments that often involve little to no social downtime, though temporary warmth, pinkness, sensitivity, swelling, and pigment changes can occur depending on the application.
MOXI™ and Super MOXI® are non-ablative fractional laser treatments with a lighter recovery profile than hybrid resurfacing. You may experience warmth, redness, temporary swelling, and tiny bronzed or sandpaper-like microdots as the skin renews.
HALO® TRIBRID™ is a more comprehensive hybrid resurfacing option. Redness, warmth, swelling, bronzing, and visible renewal are expected parts of the recovery process. The amount of downtime is shaped by the wavelengths, treatment depth, and settings used for your individual plan.
After any laser or light treatment, follow your personalized instructions closely. Use gentle skincare, avoid direct sun exposure, wear broad-spectrum sunscreen every day, and pause retinoids, exfoliating acids, and other potentially irritating products until your LILIVY Practitioner confirms that your skin is ready.
The timeline for results depends on what is being treated. BBL® HEROic™ pigment treatment can cause brown spots to temporarily darken before they fade. Redness and vascular changes may improve gradually. Acne care should be evaluated across its full treatment plan rather than after one visit. Hair reduction requires a series and changes occur across the hair-growth cycle.
With MOXI™ and Super MOXI®, patients often notice a fresher-looking complexion as the temporary roughness resolves. HALO® TRIBRID™ can provide early visible changes as the surface renewal phase clears, with continued improvement in skin quality over the following weeks and months.
Skin continues to age and respond to sun exposure, hormones, lifestyle, and skincare habits. Maintenance, sun protection, and a consistent home routine help preserve the result.
The Plan Behind the Technology
At Lilivy, advanced technology is never the whole recommendation. Dr. Stephanie Sublett is a board-certified OB/GYN, Menopause Society Certified Practitioner, and Lilivy’s Founder and Chief Medical Officer. Her advanced aesthetic education includes laser and light-based training with Sciton, and her clinical approach considers the larger picture: skin quality, anatomy, changing hormones, lifestyle, current skincare, prior treatments, recovery tolerance, and each patient’s individual goals.
That perspective matters because skin concerns can look similar while needing very different care. Pigment may need a different plan than redness. Texture may need a different approach than volume loss. Acne may need treatment before scar correction. A lower-downtime option may be right for one season of life, while a more corrective resurfacing treatment is right for another.
At Lilivy, you will understand why a treatment is being recommended, what it can realistically improve, what you should plan for afterward, and when another option might make more sense. This is physician-led laser and light care with a clear strategy behind it.
No. MOXI™, Super MOXI®, and HALO® TRIBRID™ are laser treatments. BBL® HEROic™, SkinSmooth™, Forever Clear BBL®, and Forever BARE BBL® are BroadBand Light® treatments or applications. Both can be valuable, but they work differently and are selected for different concerns.
No. BBL® HEROic™ is Sciton’s BroadBand Light® platform. It uses controlled pulses of light and is often selected for unwanted brown pigment, diffuse redness, small facial vessels, and other application-specific concerns. It is not a laser or a resurfacing laser.
HALO® TRIBRID™ is a customizable hybrid laser. It can use an ablative 2940 nm wavelength alongside non-ablative 1927 nm and 1470 nm wavelengths. The wavelengths, settings, recovery, and visible result are selected around your individual treatment plan.
Both are non-ablative fractional 1927 nm laser treatments. MOXI™ is often selected for gentler renewal, maintenance, early pigment, and texture concerns. Super MOXI® offers greater speed, power, and treatment flexibility for patients seeking a more advanced level of non-ablative skin-quality correction. Your LILIVY Practitioner will recommend the best fit after assessing your skin and goals.
SkinSmooth™ by LILIVY is Lilivy’s customized protocol using SkinSmooth™ on the BBL® HEROic™ platform. It is designed to refine the appearance of visible pores, fine lines, early crepiness, dullness, and overall skin texture. It is a light-based treatment application, not a separate laser device.
Lilivy offers Forever BARE BBL® for unwanted facial and body hair reduction. Many patients search for “laser hair removal,” but Forever BARE BBL® uses BroadBand Light® rather than a conventional laser. It is designed for permanent hair reduction, not guaranteed permanent total removal of every hair. A series is required, and light blond or white hair cannot be effectively treated with this technology.
Yes, if there is a clear clinical reason and the timing is appropriate. A patient may need pigment and redness addressed before a resurfacing treatment, active-acne treatment before scar correction, or a lower-downtime maintenance plan between more corrective visits. Your LILIVY Practitioner will recommend the safest order based on the condition of your skin and the recovery time you can accommodate.
Investment depends on the modality selected, treatment area, level of correction, number of visits recommended, and whether treatment is part of a broader plan. We provide personalized recommendations after consultation rather than applying one flat price to every patient.
